Commercial Litigation Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Litigation Professional to join our client on a secondment basis (minimum 3-6 months with the potential to extend).

This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our legal team, providing support on a diverse range of commercial litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing commercial cases, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
  • Conduct research and stay updated on changes in commercial litigation law.
  • Support senior lawyers in court proceedings and client meetings.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Provide general legal advice on commercial issues.
Qualifications:
  • Australian-qualified lawyer with up to 5 years of experience in commercial litigation.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian commercial procedures and regulations.
  • Excellent drafting and research skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • You have previous experience working with a reputable law firm or in-house legal team.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian law and regulations.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
