The role of Care Worker is vital in supporting older members of our community to maintain their independence and wellbeing.
- This includes providing home help services, including general housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and social support.
- Additionally, you will assist family carers to have a break or pursue other activities.
- You will work closely with clients and their families to understand their needs and preferences.
- Provide care and support to clients in their homes.
- Assist with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for clients.
- Manage client medication and provide reminders when necessary.
- Engage in activities that promote clients' physical and mental health.
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation are essential.
- Experience in community care or aged care is desirable but not essential.
