About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Delivery Station Manager to join our Amazon Logistics team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of process assistants and delivery service providers in the day-to-day management of our delivery station.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review operational forecasts and determine productivity requirements for the delivery station.
  • Manage a team to meet all building goals and ensure a safe work environment for all associates and delivery service providers.
  • Support all safety programs and proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools.
  • Lead change at speed and innovation, and help in daily operations such as receiving, scanning, lifting, and moving shipments.
  • Route shipments within the AMZL coverage area and support and assign job duties to process assistants.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar logistics or distribution environment.
  • Previous experience in leading large, diverse teams.
  • Experience in employee and performance management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven ability in establishing and carrying out root cause analysis, and then extracting and analyzing the data generated.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with performance metrics, process improvement, and Lean techniques.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and analytical skills.
  • Experience with a contingent workforce during peak seasons.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
