
Speech Pathologist – Early Intervention Specialist

We are seeking passionate and caring speech pathologists to join our team in early intervention therapy. In this role, you will work closely with a dedicated team to support children with autism and their families, celebrating their strengths and supporting their growth.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver individualised therapy services: Support speech and language development, social communication, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC); work closely with parents, schools, and communities to provide communication training.
- Collaborate with the team: Work alongside a knowledgeable and supportive multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care.
- Variation in your day: Provide a combination of hub-based therapy and community visits; lead therapy groups across a range of skill areas to foster communication, play, self-advocacy, social engagement, and relationships.
- Grow your passion: Develop your clinical pathway. Have access to comprehensive training and development to advance your skills in AAC, mealtimes, and social communication.
- Focus on your clinical work: Be supported by a team of operations staff to assist with resource making, scheduling, funding, and billing.
- Make a difference in the community: Participate in community events and projects through our extensive community partnerships to support inclusion for all.
You enjoy working with autistic individuals and their families to ensure a total communication approach is achieved for all.
We are looking for a compassionate and driven speech pathologist who:
- Has tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
- Is passionate about working with young children and their families in early childhood settings.
- Demonstrates a family-centred approach, with a passion for empowering individuals and supporting their independence.
- Has strong communication skills and able to build rapport with clients, families, and other professionals.
- Has the flexibility and initiative to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Is committed to ongoing professional development and to delivering the highest standard of care.
Please note that you will be required to complete necessary clearances including an NDIS Workers Check.
