Job Title: Advanced Clinical Practitioner

Description:

Clinical nurse consultants play a pivotal role in providing high-quality patient care and leading multidisciplinary teams.

The position involves:

  • Providing clinical guidance and support to patients, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals across various wards and units.
  • Participating in regular mortality and morbidity meetings to discuss patient outcomes and improve care delivery.
  • Coordinating the management of emergency response systems, including data collection, analysis, and reporting at local and district levels.
  • Conducting thorough patient case reviews with relevant clinicians and implementing evidence-based best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated expertise in acute and chronic general medical care, with ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework.
  • Strong critical thinking skills for delivering advanced, evidence-based nursing care and making informed decisions.
  • Proven experience in leading change initiatives, translating research into practice, and promoting person-centered care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to analyze complex data and produce comprehensive reports.

This is a temporary full-time position up to 5 December 2025. The salary range is $131,870.9 - $134,500.7 per annum plus superannuation. The working hours are 38 hours per week.
