Key Role Summary

This position is a critical part of our multidisciplinary team in Diagnostic and Cochlear Implant Audiology at the Royal Hobart Hospital.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team in providing paediatric speech pathology services. The successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of and experience in working within a multidisciplinary framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality Speech Pathology services to clients seen in the Statewide Audiology Service, including the Tasmanian Cochlear Implant Clinic & Diagnostic Audiology Clinic.
  • Broad knowledge of and experience in providing paediatric speech pathology services within a multidisciplinary framework.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the impact of hearing loss on speech, language and communication.
Requirements:
  • A degree or diploma in Applied Science, Speech Pathology or equivalent and eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Current Working with Children Registration.
