The Medical Oncology Consultant is a key member of our multidisciplinary care team, delivering exceptional clinical care to patients in the Medical Oncology Department. This role requires a high level of expertise, leadership, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver top-tier clinical care to patients, ensuring excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Lead and participate in clinical audit, quality and safety management, clinical risk assessment, research endeavors, and ongoing medical education initiatives.
- Engage in teaching medical students, trainee medical officers, and relevant Nursing and Allied Health professionals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.

Requirements- Registered with AHPRA and have at least 12 months recent experience in Medical Oncology.
- On RACP training program within 6 months of completing fellowship.
- Hold or be eligible for the FRACP.
- IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ.
- IMG's with RACP interview date.
- IMG's assessed by RACP and found to be substantially comparable.
