
Dynamic Supply Chain Analyst

The Supply Chain Analyst plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of goods and services.
This dynamic position requires strong analytical skills to manage demand forecasts, optimise inventory levels, and guarantee exceptional service for valued partners.
- Analyse market trends, lead times, and various supply chain factors to ensure the highest service level for our partners.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and costs, contributing to efficient product delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Manage purchasing activities and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, regional headquarters (RHQ), and headquarters (HQ).
Key Responsibilities:
Demand Forecasting and AnalysisCreate and refine predictive models to forecast demand accurately.
Purchase Order ManagementOversee the process of placing and tracking purchase orders to ensure timely delivery to warehouses.
Inventory Planning and OptimisationFormulate strategies for managing inventory levels, considering both existing and new products. This includes planning for phase-outs and source changes.
Cross-Functional CollaborationEngage with counterparts across the globe, as well as suppliers and vendors, to facilitate effective forecasting and demand planning processes.
Data-Driven Decision MakingUtilise advanced techniques like scenario modelling and big data analysis to generate insights that aid in informed decision making.
Forecast Refinement and Sales AssumptionsWork across functions to reconcile significant forecast variances and refine plans based on updated repairs and sales assumptions.
Contingency Planning and Risk MitigationCreate backup plans and risk mitigations to respond to unexpected fluctuations in sales, ensuring the optimisation of stock in the supply chain.
Performance Reporting and Tool MaintenanceDeliver key performance indicator reports to senior management, offering valuable insights. Additionally, maintain the forecasting profile in the SSPM tool to enhance forecasting accuracy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 2+ years of supply chain experience with a focus on forecasting management
- Proficient in SAP, especially in SAP MM, and advanced Excel skills
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with a logistical mindset for efficient goods handling
- Works well under time pressure, meets deadlines, and collaborates effectively in a team
- Strong organisational skills, initiative, and a commitment to excellent customer service
