Trainee Educator Opportunity in Child Care

This is a Certificate 3 traineeship position available at a reputable child care centre in Melbourne, Australia.

To succeed in this role, you must be passionate, punctual and reliable, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

The successful applicant will work part-time (27.5 hours per week) in a supportive environment with highly experienced educators.

As a trainee educator, you will receive government top-up wage incentives and free training to obtain your qualification.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring children's safety and well-being by providing continuous supervision.
  • Creating engaging and positive environments that foster learning and development.
  • Working flexible hours, including split shifts, to meet the needs of the centre.
  • Contributing to a collaborative team environment by sharing cleaning duties and providing support to colleagues.
  • Completing the Certificate 3 qualification through studying while working.

Requirements:

  • High school certificate or higher.
  • Current driver's licence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Passionate about working with children.
