Job Summary

We are seeking a Claims Consultant to join our team in Brisbane. As a Claims Consultant, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Motor and Warranty claims end to end.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of Motor and Warranty claims from start to finish.
  • Respond to general enquiries and inbound calls.
  • Settle claims within client service instructions, company guidelines and delegated authority.
  • Liaise with third-party providers.
  • Build and develop internal and external business relationships.
  • Achieve daily productivity levels as designated by management.
  • Comply with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Resolve complaints according to company guidelines.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Recognize potential fraud/recovery indicators and pursue recovery where applicable.

About You

We are looking for individuals who possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in end-to-end motor or property claims.
  • Industry-specific ANZIIF qualifications (desirable).
  • Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Focus on customer/client outcomes.
  • Well-rounded communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • PC literate - Database and Microsoft Office.
