Job Title: Maintenance Fitter

Pace Appointments is currently partnering with a family-owned Australian company to assist in the recruitment of a maintenance fitter within their organisation.

Located just one hour from Toowoomba, this facility is ideally seeking candidates to work on a day shift, with overtime available. The successful candidate will play a critical role in minimising downtime and optimising productivity, ensuring a high standard of industrial maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance work as scheduled
• Respond to calls to fault finding, root cause analysis of equipment malfunctions, and rectify equipment and machinery faults
• Fault finding and determining the root cause of equipment malfunctions
• Creating and managing reports pertaining to the repair and maintenance of equipment

Requirements:

• Relevant trade certificate from a recognised tertiary institution
• Previous experience in manufacturing, heavy industry, or an industrial setting
• Strong problem-solving aptitude
• A collaborative attitude and ability to work as part of a team
