Amazon Commercial Services Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Procurement Strategist for Supply Chain Optimization to join our team in Kemps Creek, NSW, Australia.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity involves leading the procurement operations for our Fulfillment Center, driving efficiency and improvement across non-inventory items. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will own the site's indirect procurement operation responsibilities, including forecasting, inventory management, purchase order management, and vendor management.

You will provide procurement leadership, align with the building leadership team, and drive efficiencies and improvements at the site(s). Your expertise will be crucial in developing deep knowledge of non-inventory items, aligning with like buildings to drive best practices, and measuring actual vs planned savings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide procurement operations support for the fulfillment center, including forecasting of non-inventory products, inventory management, non-inventory flow and space models, cycle counts, supplier management, procurement transaction, and expediting support.
  • Lead a team of non-inventory receivers to ensure the building has adequate resources and is set up for success.
  • Develop relationships across the building and network to ensure best practices are being shared and implemented.
  • Measure actual vs planned savings; as savings trends are identified, own action plans to meet goals and develop solutions.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A completed Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration, engineering, IT, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • 1+ year's experience using MS-office, particularly Excel and analytic platforms.
  • Experience understanding process flow and suggesting improvements to deliver savings, inventory reduction, or other benefits to the site.

As a bonus, we prefer candidates with Supply Chain Management Certifications (e.g., CSCMP).

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits and opportunities for growth and development within the company.
