Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Shift Manager to join our brand-new Automated Distribution Centre (ADC) in Kemps Creek, New South Wales. This is an incredible opportunity to be involved in our second ADC, where we'll use world-class technology to modernise our supply chain.

The successful candidate will lead day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless operational delivery and driving efficiency, service, safety, engagement, and value within DC operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily operations, providing operational leadership, direction, and support to achieve optimal performance.
  • Ensuring continual review, improvement, and maintenance of operational activities to drive efficiency, service, safety, engagement, and value.
  • Enabling the continuous flow of stock, taking immediate corrective action as required, trouble shooting, and undertaking root cause analysis.
  • Ensuring work carried out adheres to Coles Quality, Compliance, Safety, Reliability, and Cost requirements.
  • Driving engagement across the team, facilitating the sharing of ideas to support achievement of KPIs and continuous improvement.
  • Managing internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Sponsoring and leading change initiatives within the DC, partnering with support functions throughout Supply Chain and other business units.
About You

We're looking for a goal-oriented leader with demonstrated commercial business acumen and delivery in operational excellence across Supply/Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of lean, six sigma processing principles and extensive experience with performance metrics, process improvement, and people leadership.

Possessing strong operational experience in Manufacturing, Warehousing, Automation, and/or Retail is highly regarded. Tertiary qualifications in Lean, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Logistics would be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is around $110,000-$140,000 AUD, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including opportunities for professional growth and development.
