This starts with recruitment and selection, which may involve making reasonable adjustments to support applicants at all stages of the process and employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure international students are enrolled and provided with necessary materials.
  • Manage details of international students on a database, including their health cover, passport details, and address attendance records.
  • Develop and maintain communication links with international students, parents, host families, and staff of DE International.
  • Contribute to the development and coordination of an orientation program for international students.
  • Monitor the ongoing welfare, adjustment, behavior, and health of international students, ensuring visa compliance requirements are met.
  • Identify and facilitate access to support services, including counseling, to assist with the adjustment to living and studying in Queensland.
  • Ensure compliance with DE International policies and procedures as well as State and Commonwealth legislative requirements.
  • Participate in all training offered by the school and DE International.
