About This Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Minecraft Builder to join our team. As a Minecraft Builder, you will be responsible for creating dynamic environments that bring scripts and storyboards to life in an interactive and exciting way.

This is a full-time position where you will work with our team of Minecraft Set Designers to create practical sets (Minecraft Builds) that cater to filming environments and children's audiences.

  • Create visually appealing and functional Minecraft Survival builds that maintain realism while ensuring they are not perceived as the work of professional builders.
  • Adapt building styles from simple to complex, depending on the storyline, to create diverse and immersive environments.
  • Utilize common building techniques and tools such as WorldEdit to construct builds efficiently and effectively, optimizing the building process.
  • Design unique gameplay moments and level elements within scripts to captivate the audience and enhance the overall storytelling experience.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in Game Level Design/Minecraft Building/Set Design
  • Proficiency in Minecraft and all game mechanics
  • Familiarity with WorldEdit and other Minecraft tools
  • Knowledge of Minecraft commands, command blocks, and redstone circuitry
