We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join our team at Hillgrove Resources. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving commercial performance and ensuring the successful delivery of our mining operations.
Key Responsibilities- Analyse and review commercial agreements, providing input to the CFO on project finance and hedging requirements.
- Collaborate with mining, processing, and other work groups to maximise asset value and ensure financial and commercial setup during construction and production.
- Provide analytical and commercially astute advice to the General Manager and Head Office on financial and commercial decision-making.
- Deliver management reports and analysis on construction FCAC, progress, schedule, critical path, and mining profitability.
- Lead the development of greater commercial governance and understanding at the Kanmantoo site.
- Ensure efficient and effective warehouse/stores purchasing and stock management.
- Maintain and operate site IT systems and ensure site security.
We are looking for a dynamic and analytical individual with a strong understanding of financial complexities, financial levers, and commercial data. You will have excellent prioritisation and time management skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and in changing situations. A postgraduate qualification in finance or business would be highly regarded.
