Senior Prep Cook

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food as part of a high-performing culinary team. Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables to ensure quality standards. Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to established recipes and quality guidelines. Prepare and cook food according to presentation standards and food preparation checklists. Prepare cold foods and operate various kitchen equipment, including ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers. Ensure food quality by testing and monitoring temperature and presentation. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, including tools, knives, and equipment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
