Park Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Parks and Gardens unit, you will play a critical role in maintaining the City's parks, reserves and streetscapes.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about horticulture and wants to make a difference in their community.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high quality maintenance activities for parks, reserves and streetscapes
- Make informed technical and operational decisions
- Provide support, leadership and advice to staff members and apprentices as required
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment or alone under direction
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work in accordance with WHS and industry obligations
- Experience in the maintenance and safe operation of various parks and gardens related plant and equipment
- C' Class driver's licence
- WHS General Induction for Construction (White Card)
This position offers a range of benefits including:
