Job Summary

This is an exceptional opportunity to assume a leadership position in our repairs department. We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to oversee the work of a team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and maximum efficiency.

The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding team members, providing proactive leadership skills, and overseeing all service repair work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in leading the Repairs crew, providing guidance and support to team members.
  • Support Team leaders and/or Supervisors in achieving productivity goals.
  • Complete planned, unplanned, and corrective maintenance tasks as required.
  • Ensure quality and safety standards are met by championing our safety culture.
  • Inspect equipment and raise job requests on any defective parts/components found.
  • Represent us professionally in all interactions.
  • Supervise lifting and handling activities within the workshop.
Requirements:
  • Hold a Certificate III in Mechanical, Machinist or Fabrication (Trade Certificate).
  • Experience in a leading hand position with demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of heavy equipment related to the crushing and screening industry.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to solve practical problems.
  • Ability to train others, including providing required training and qualification of customer service personnel.
  • Ability to address situations that may occur in the field during assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair, prioritizing safety.
  • Must have a solid understanding of the mining processing industry, job site safety requirements, planning, and scheduling.
  • Must be able to read plans and specifications.
  • Trade qualified in either fabrication, machining, mechanical fitting, or related field preferred.
  • Good leadership, initiative, communication, teamwork, managing for results, and coaching & mentoring skills.
