About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Consultant to join our team at the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN). As a Nurse Consultant HIV Liaison, you will play a pivotal role in delivering specialized nursing care to clients living with HIV.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert care coordination and case management for individuals living with HIV
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to ensure optimal health outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support
  • Conduct education and training sessions for healthcare professionals on HIV management and treatment
  • Lead and mentor nursing staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in HIV care

About You

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated nurse who embodies the following key attributes:

  • Qualifications: Registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Leadership Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities
  • Experience: At least 3 years post-registration in a relevant clinical area, with proven competence in care coordination for people living with HIV or other infectious diseases
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant legislation, safety standards, and contemporary nursing practices
