Job Title
Tamworth Aboriginal Medical Service is seeking an Aboriginal Administration Officer/Receptionist.This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a team-centered approach to client care, with supported career progression and competitive salary packaging benefits.
Key Responsibilities:- Administrative and reception duties, including transport.
- Answer telephone calls, take messages and distribute incoming correspondence.
- Undertake faxing, printing, photocopying, binding and other administrative tasks as required.
- Provide support to the executive team for events if required.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all policies and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and computer literacy.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander patients in a culturally appropriate way.
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC), National Police Check and NSW Driver's License.
This position is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants only, due to a genuine occupational requirement under section 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).
