We are seeking an Inventory Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient handling of inbound and outbound goods.
Your primary objective will be to ensure that all products are received, processed, and prepared for sale, and then dispatched to customers on order. This includes inspecting and processing incoming items for resale, accurately sorting, categorising, and pricing products to maximise their second life, maintaining organised inventory and storage areas to optimise space and reduce waste, communicating effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations, and adhering to and promoting safety protocols and procedures.
Key Skills and Qualifications- A hard-working, organised, detail-oriented and motivated self-starter
- Customer-Focused: Passionate about providing exceptional customer experiences, understanding the importance of timely and accurate inventory processing and order fulfillment
- Adaptable: Embracing change and demonstrating flexibility in a team that is growing at pace, easily adapting to new challenges and responsibilities
- Team Player: Thriving in an environment where the work is achieved by the team working together and communicating well
- Safety-Conscious: Prioritising a safety-first culture by following all WHS processes and maintaining relevant safety certifications
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using inventory management software such as Excel, Cin 7, and Shopify
This role is physical and will require lifting, carrying and standing for periods of time. It may also involve working some weekends.
This is a casual role based at our Circular Precinct and we are looking for someone who is willing to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
About UsWe are a start-up that is scaling up, powered by a purpose-driven team, working with leading corporates, backed by values-aligned investors, and endorsed daily by increasingly conscious consumers.
We love what we do, and care a lot – for each other, our customers and our planet. We're ambitious, and (a little) impatient, motivated by the possibilities but staying grounded in the progress we're making. We work at pace, because we have no time to waste.
