Primary Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Primary Care Specialist to provide high-quality medical care to Defence members. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a modern, well-equipped facility alongside a supportive team.

About the Role
  • Deliver primary medical care in accordance with professional standards and Defence protocols
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support Defence personnel
  • Evaluate fitness for duty and provide pre/post-deployment medical assistance
  • Offer medical technical advice to Defence leaders
  • Work across outpatient and inpatient care settings as required
Your Impact

You will make a significant impact supporting Defence personnel by providing quality on-site medical care. Your role is crucial in ensuring that Defence members receive timely and effective medical treatment.

Key Qualifications
  • Unrestricted registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner
  • FRACGP, FACRRM, or Vocational Registration
  • Minimum 2 years' full-time (or part-time equivalent) GP experience within the last 5 years
  • Australian Citizenship – required for Baseline Security Clearance purposes
