Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Turf Equipment Mechanic to join our team in Banyo, QLD. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with turf maintenance equipment.

About the Role

This role will be responsible for performing mechanical tasks, including repair, maintenance, and servicing of turf maintenance-related equipment within a nominated region. You will work closely with the Service Manager, Equipment, to ensure the smooth operation of our service fleet vehicle and perform various mechanical tasks to maintain and repair turf maintenance-related equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively manage field service priorities and schedules.
  • Ensure the safety, cleanliness, and proper resourcing of our service fleet vehicle.
  • Coordinating and performing various mechanical tasks to repair, maintain, and service turf maintenance-related equipment.
  • Establish and maintain relevant service-related information.
  • Provide product service training to clients as required.
  • Build and maintain a customer base to promote the ongoing financial growth of the Service Centre.
  • Participate in regular internal product-based training to meet and exceed OEM service standards.
Requirements
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience in the maintenance and repair of mobile equipment, including hydraulic and electrical systems, diesel and petrol engines.
  • Able to use test and diagnostic equipment to determine the cause of mechanical or electrical problems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to establish effective business relationships with internal and external customers.
  • A valid Australian Motor Vehicle License.
