About You:

  • We're looking for a motivated and results-driven individual with a proven track record in sales success, meeting targets, and overcoming objections using strong sales methodology.
  • A love for all things green, including horticulture, gardening, turf, and lawn care is essential.
  • You should demonstrate a genuine interest in people and a high level of customer care.
  • A desire for turf industry product knowledge to provide advice for customers in areas of turf varieties, DIY project processes (irrigation, lawn installation, site preparation, and mowing) is required.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Turf Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting customers in their queries and converting incoming online, phone call, and walk-in inquiries into sales.

You will follow up, accurately report, and respond quickly to customer inquiries.

A high level of customer care and service is required to ensure customers receive the warm, friendly Australian Turf Trusco way, with energy and optimism, and a genuine interest in rapport building and meeting customer needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in sales success, meeting targets, and overcoming objections using strong sales methodology.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand the differing needs of customers and offer advice and information on the products and services we deliver.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills when interacting with customers (both on the phone, in person, and online).
  • Ability to perform sales processes and a commitment to results-driven outcomes, including a positive mindset around striving to attain agreed company sales targets and accountability of agreed KPIs.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Methodical with administrative tasks required to perform the role at high levels.

The role is based in Allenview, QLD, with occasional travel required for industry conferences or staff training.
