Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Associate to join our team. As a Clinical Research Associate, you will be responsible for working on multiple trials within Oncology, focusing on quality of life and regional travel. You will demonstrate leadership skills through involvement in specific initiatives and serve as a subject matter expert on systems and processes. Your responsibilities will include mentoring and coaching junior team members, acting as a lead site manager, and developing site start-up documents. You will also provide a "voice" when reviewing study documents and represent local trial managers or site managers on site management teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work on multiple trials within Oncology, focusing on quality of life and regional travel
  • Demonstrate leadership skills through involvement in specific initiatives and serve as a subject matter expert on systems and processes
  • Mentor and coach junior team members
  • Act as a lead site manager
  • Develop site start-up documents
  • Provide a "voice" when reviewing study documents
  • Represent local trial managers or site managers on site management teams
Requirements
  • Minimum of a B.S., R.N., or equivalent degree, preferably in Biological Sciences
  • Located in NJ/NY near a major airport, with Philadelphia also acceptable
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in monitoring pharmaceutical industry clinical trials
  • Minimum of 1-3 years' experience monitoring Oncology trials
  • Knowledge of several therapeutic areas
  • Analytical/risk-based monitoring experience is an asset
  • Ability to actively drive patient recruitment strategies at assigned sites
  • Ability to partner closely with investigator and site staff to meet all of our study timelines
  • Ability to operate and use various systems and databases
  • Possess strong communication and influencing skills
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of Good Clinical Practice, ICH guidelines, and local regulatory requirements
  • Need to travel up to 50%

We offer a competitive salary range of $89,376.00 USD - $111,720.00 USD, based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, education/training, and skill level.
