We seek a senior finance leader to partner closely with our leadership team and operational teams to improve production efficiency and margin performance. This role will be responsible for leading financial strategy, planning, and operational analysis in a highly regulated, GMP-compliant manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, and operational analysis, as well as experience building and implementing ERP-driven costing models and financial systems.

  • Lead annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning.
  • Develop robust manufacturing cost models (BOMs, routings, activity-based costing).
  • Analyse manufacturing variances and drive operational improvements.
  • Oversee financial inputs into ERP systems and ensure accurate, timely reporting to multiple stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and GMP requirements.

The successful candidate will have a track record of working closely with operational teams to improve production efficiency and margin performance. They will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, have strong influencing skills, and be comfortable navigating complexity in a regulated, high-growth setting.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Analysis

Develop and implement financial planning and analysis processes to support the organisation's growth and success.

  • Lead the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range plans.
  • Analyse and report on financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for cost savings.

Manufacturing Cost Modelling

Design and implement manufacturing cost models to support informed decision-making.

  • Develop robust BOMs, routings, and activity-based costing models.
  • Analyse and report on manufacturing variances, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

ERP System Implementation

Implement and manage ERP systems to support financial planning and analysis.

  • Oversee the implementation of ERP systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
  • Ensure accurate, timely reporting to multiple stakeholders.

Compliance and Risk Management

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and GMP requirements.

  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and report on compliance risks, identifying opportunities for improvement.
