Unparalleled Opportunity for a Locum Pharmacist in the Heart of QLD

This position offers an exceptional chance to work as a locum pharmacist in a community pharmacy located in the Central Highlands. The role provides a range of experiences, including working as a sole pharmacist and/or team pharmacist.

About the Role:

  • As a locum pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing medication on DispenseWork and providing support to experienced dispensary technicians and staff.
  • You will also have the opportunity to vaccinate patients, perform webster checking, and manage suboxone and cannabis patients.

The ideal candidate will possess registration as a pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA) and experience with dispensing work. Vaccination accreditation and suboxone experience are preferred but not essential.

Work Details:
  • Minimum 4 weeks or longer commitment required.
  • Roster of 38-40 hours per week minimum.

Store hours include Monday to Friday 8:30am to 6pm, Thursday 8:30am to 7:30pm, Saturday 8:30am to 5pm, and Sunday 9am to 5pm.

Requirements:
  1. Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  2. Experience with Dispense work (preferred but not essential).
  3. Able to work in a busy pharmacy environment as the sole pharmacist if required.
  4. Vaccination accreditation (preferred but not essential).
  5. Suboxone experience (preferred but not essential).
  6. Cannabis experience (preferred but not essential).
Remuneration:

$75 p/hr + super Monday to Friday,
$80/hr + super Weekends,
Public Holidays $100/hr + super.
