Service Delivery Director

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of heavy diesel mechanics, customer service professionals and administrative staff.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators while enhancing the customer experience and value offered within all aspects of the service department.
- Measure department performance against business goals and budget, build and maintain a strong customer base, and identify new business opportunities.
About You:
- A minimum of 5 years' managerial experience in an industrial or service environment, preferably in the heavy vehicle transport industry.
- A passionate and resilient personality with demonstrable experience in successfully managing, developing & motivating a workforce.
- Strong understanding of financial information including budgets and monthly reports.
Requirements:
- Ability to understand technical product information and fault resolution.
- Demonstrated skills in managing customer relationships.
- Sound knowledge of commercial vehicles, with experience in Western Star, MAN, Dennis Eagle, Allison, Detroit products preferred.
- Understanding of labour sales, costs, gross margin, expenses and other financial ratios.
- Commitment to safe work practices and good understanding of health and safety responsibilities.
- Strong time management, effective communication and teamwork skills.
