About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Food Service Assistant to join our team at Mercy Health. As a Food Service Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents by delivering food services that meet their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of meals to residents
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure seamless service delivery
- Provide support to residents with mealtime assistance as needed
Requirements
- Recognised qualification in food safety or related field
- National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Clearance
- Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders
