Strategic Role

We are seeking an experienced Mergers & Acquisitions Manager to join our Strategy & Transformation team. This pivotal role will play a key part in shaping the future of Anglicare, driving strategic initiatives, and contributing to transformative projects across Sydney.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and recommend corporate development opportunities, ensuring rigorous strategy, valuation, and risk assessment.
  • Develop creative solutions to achieve strategic objectives through new ventures, partnerships, and capital structuring solutions.
  • Coordinate transaction processes across various workstreams, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Work closely with all stakeholders to establish action plans for delivering strategic and financial objectives.
  • Post-transaction reporting against original assumptions, targets, and commitments.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of end-to-end M&A transaction experience is required.
  • A qualification in accounting, legal, or finance, or other relevant fields.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to independently build financial models, valuations, debt structures.
  • Exceptional stakeholder relationship and communication skills.
  • Post-transaction implementation experience is preferred.
  • A passion for improving the lives of older Australians, with knowledge of aged care being advantageous.
