The role of Manager, Data Analytics & Reporting Services is a pivotal position within the organization. As a lead, you will be responsible for ensuring all data and analytics products and services meet the expected standards of availability, service, and support.

The Data Analytics Platform is an integral part of the organization's technology systems and products, providing data and analytics capabilities and services across the organization. This includes report creation, data mining, and data extracts.

As the Manager, Data Analytics & Reporting Services, you will drive the strategic direction of the Data Analytics Platform, manage its delivery, and act as a point of escalation within vendor management. You may be required to support out-of-hours emergencies, as this role is accountable for the platform's delivery, maintenance, and ongoing functioning.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Lead Strategic Direction**: Develop and implement a strategy for the Data Analytics Platform, including defining the strategic direction for report creation, data mining, and data extracting activities. Ensure alignment with planned IT upgrades and identify replacements for end-of-life systems. Lead the development and implementation of strategies for quality assurance and continuous improvement in IT operations processes and initiatives.

**Provide Expert Advice**: Provide authoritative advice to business stakeholders, vendors, and the team, acting as a point of escalation for issues. Maintain best practice documentation and resolve delivery issues through close collaboration with stakeholders and team members.

**Enable Business Performance**: Identify improvement opportunities and enable continuous improvement related to data and analytics by reviewing available capabilities against business needs and existing services. Drive and enable the development and embedding of data analytics across the organization, including report creation, data mining, and data extracts.

**Contribute to Organizational Culture**: Lead by example, demonstrating guiding behaviors, and improve knowledge, skills, and ability of others to deliver against performance expectations and outcomes. Articulate changes required and support individuals to successfully adopt change and achieve organizational goals.

**Requirements**

**Technical Expertise**: Demonstrates technical expertise in relation to the role, with significant experience in IT platform management and service delivery, end-to-end accountability, and leadership in ideation and innovation.

**Leadership and Team Management Skills**: Strong leadership and team management skills, with prior experience managing a range of technology functions and team leadership responsibilities. Leads strategic business/corporate initiatives and is accountable for delivering strategic plans.
