Working with a NFP and purpose driven organisation that drives tourism and excting events across Victoria, you will work with a dynamic and passionate team.

The Data & Analytics Manager will have responsibility for driving innovative data and analytics strategies to achieve the organisation's global business objectives.

The role will oversee a small team focused on data analytics, audience management and data-driven insights across all digital channels.

**Responsibilities**:
Provide clear direction and leadership to two current team members (1 x Digital Analyst & 1 x Data Analyst), including ongoing coaching and feedback regarding performance.

Lead our consumer data & audience management approach, including integration with agency partners and embedding data-led best practices across the organisation

Build, leverage and manage the organisations customer data platforms, data partners and related agency relationships

Provide support with data partnerships, major data & analytics initiatives and digital assets across other teams, including Melbourne Convention Bureau, Major Events and Corporate Relations business units.

Work with our Research & Insights team to help source and integrate third party/syndicated data so that its effectively used for organisational reporting & insights

Lead the Business Intelligence (BI) tool upgrade and improved dashboard reporting with teams across the business to ensure adoption and continued success.

Work with our Destination Marketing team and media agency partners to share our data & insights to create a media mix model and support driving media efficiency

Optimise our data measurement framework to align the business around reporting best practices

Lead our continual expansion of the use of Google Analytics and BigQuery, our data warehouse.

Work with our Leadership team to deliver actionable insights, and the Destination Marketing team to drive real-time visibility of campaign performance.

**Required experience**:
Minimum 5 years experience leading a data and analytics function, in-house or at an agency

Experience working with data warehouses / data lakes (eg. BigQuery, Redshift)

Experience working with business intelligence (BI) tools (eg. PowerBI, Tableau, Looker)

Experience with common analytics querying languages such as SQL

Good understanding of typical B2B and B2C data structures

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to discuss data needs with non-technical stakeholders

Proven experience leading and developing outcome-driven teams in line with the organisations' business objectives

Solid knowledge and experience in the marketing technology landscape, including experience in data platforms and understanding of programmatic media buying/data driven marketing

A flexible approach and the ability to accept and champion change

High level interpersonal skills, ability to develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders, managers, staff and contractors
