Job Title: Senior Procurement Specialist

The organisation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to join their team on a 6-month temporary basis. The role involves ensuring the regular review and audit of contracts, developing and reviewing contract management plans, establishing and maintaining strong business relationships with stakeholders, and supporting the development of acquisition plans, tender documentation, specifications, and associated legal contracts.

About the Role
  • Ensure efficient and effective delivery of procurement and contracting services.
  • Develop and review contract management plans to ensure compliance with government legislative requirements.
  • Establish and maintain strong business relationships with stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Support the development of acquisition plans, tender documentation, specifications, and associated legal contracts to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement processes.
Requirements
  • Government experience is essential for this role.
  • Demonstrated experience in procurement and contracts is required.
  • Ability to obtain a National Police check and Working with Children Check is necessary.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) are essential for success in this role.
