We are a vibrant and energetic sports bar and restaurant, designed to provide an immersive experience for sports fans. Our venue features large screens and TVs throughout, ensuring patrons can catch every moment of their favorite sports events in comfort.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of chefs, ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests, and maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and develop a team of chefs, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
  • Culinary Excellence: Ensure that all meals are cooked to the highest standard, adhering to our recipe and plating guides, and served on time.
  • Kitchen Operations: Manage general kitchen operations, including staff allocation, section management, and maintenance of a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Financial Management: Demonstrate experience and understanding of financial controls, including cost management and inventory control.
  • Menu Development: Participate in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all menu items, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Sous Chef/Chef De Partie Chef in a hotel, restaurant, or pub environment.
  • Attitude and Work Ethic: Energetic attitude, team player approach, and strong work ethic.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide kitchen staff.
  • Organizational Abilities: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge and Certifications: Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery is desired; however, it is not essential. Eligibility to work in Australia is required.
