Job Description

As a Project Manager Operational Readiness, you play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless transition from project to steady-state operation and service of the Material Handling System. This is essential for creating a positive customer experience and customer value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult, assess, and take ownership of the service contract to be sold by the Service Account Manager, focusing on contract knowledge, risk identification, and opportunities.
  • Develop and execute a transition plan with the customer and project team, mitigating risks and ensuring successful handover.
  • Manage the transition of complex solutions into stable operations, encompassing solution, service, and customer readiness.
  • Oversee the service contract to ensure its execution aligns with agreed performance levels until steady-state operations, and then hand it over to the Service Contract Manager.
  • Coordinate the transition plan within budget and planning, collaborating with the customer, project, and service teams.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers up to board level during the transition phase, managing their expectations and resolving issues promptly.
  • Develop and enhance the setup of site-based service teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
  • Relevant experience in project management, stakeholder management, and integration (at least 3 years) within an international environment, working with diverse cultures.
  • Outstanding planning, scheduling, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management processes (ITIL) is advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Willingsness to travel extensively worldwide (40-50%).
