Financial business partners play a pivotal role in contributing to financial reporting and forecasting for the business.

Key responsibilities include preparing business unit and departmental monthly financial reports, supporting year-end financial reporting activities, collaborating with budget holders to inform financial modelling and budget preparation, and developing product pricing models in partnership with commercial and contracts teams.

Additional duties include conducting end-to-end CAPEX analysis, validating business case assumptions, ensuring forecasts are maintained to a high standard, and working closely with the financial accountant. The role also involves assisting with the completion of the end of year financial audit.

To succeed in this role, candidates should have a tertiary degree in commerce/accounting or equivalent experience, as well as certification from professional accounting bodies such as the Chartered Accountants or Certified Practising Accountants. A minimum of three years post-qualified experience is required, preferably in finance and cross-functional collaboration.

Candidates should possess extensive experience in finance and cross-functional collaboration, proven financial management reporting experience, familiarity with financial audit processes, strong analytical skills and attention to detail, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

The ideal candidate will be a team player who can contribute to the success of the organisation. They will be able to work collaboratively with colleagues across different departments to achieve common goals.
