General Practitioner Job Opportunity

The Gunnedah District Hospital is seeking General Practitioners to work as Visiting Medical Officers, with or without specialty privileges. The ideal candidate will have a primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of RACGP/ACRRM/RACP.

  • Responsibilities include providing admitting, consultative, diagnostic, procedural, outpatient, telehealth, and on-call services as required by HNELHD.
Mandatory Requirements:
  • Primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA
  • Fellowship of RACGP/ACRRM/RACP and/or overseas trained specialist pathways

Strong communication skills, teamwork, management ability, professionalism, and advocacy are essential.
