Operational Technology Program Lead

As a seasoned professional, you will have the opportunity to lead critical operational technology initiatives that support safe and sustainable energy generation in Queensland.

About the Role

The Operational Technology Program Lead role oversees the delivery of a portfolio of operational technology projects spanning generation sites and corporate systems. You will work closely with engineering, IT, and site operations teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of operational technology programs across multiple energy generation sites.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement across technical, operational, and executive levels.
  • Ensure projects meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations.
  • Coordinate site travel and on-ground project activities with minimal disruption to operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience managing complex operational technology or industrial control systems (ICS) programs in asset-intensive industries.
  • Strong understanding of supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), programmable logic controllers (PLCs), telemetry, and cybersecurity in operational environments.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex programs.
