Job Description

We are looking for talented nurses who can deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. As a Perioperative Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of patients throughout their perioperative journey
  • Supervising and guiding nursing staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families to promote health recovery and rehabilitation

Key responsibilities include delivering safe, efficient, and effective nursing care, leading quality improvement projects, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Your expertise will enable you to provide expert nursing care to patients requiring surgery, including orthopaedics, neurosurgery, spinal, urology, or ENT surgery.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent qualification
  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  • Clinical expertise in perioperative nursing, with experience in scrub/perioperative nursing desirable

You will also need to demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
