Entry Level Drilling Trainee

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and physically fit individual to join our team as an Entry Level Drilling Trainee. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable industry experience while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mobilising rigs from one set-up to another
  • Handling core – removing from tube, placing in core boxes and labelling box
  • Handling drilling rods and core tubes
  • Mixing drill fluid additives
  • Cleaning equipment and keeping work area clean
  • Assisting with equipment maintenance and repairs
Requirements:
  • Flexibility in working both 4:2 and 2:1 rosters
  • Heavy Rigid Licence (HR)
  • Ability to pass a stringent pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing
  • Current Police Clearance, less than 3 months old
