Demand Planning Role

About the Job Description

Develop accurate demand-based sales forecasts by partnering with senior sales and marketing leaders. You will utilize statistical forecasting software, adding intelligence through business partnering skills to deliver insightful results.

Responsibilities:
  • Using advanced techniques in demand-modelling, statistical analysis, and liaison with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams to develop sales forecasts.
  • Establishing, maintaining, and utilizing forecasting tools and processes for developing the demand plan.
  • Managing key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the accuracy/bias in demand forecasts to drive improvement.
  • Being the primary point of contact for supply planning, including the master production scheduler, to manage change and balance supply/demand for optimal customer service levels and supply chain efficiency.
Key Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • A curious and analytical mindset to interpret data insights and drive decision-making.
  • Forecasting, sales, marketing, or finance background with a solid understanding of supply chain functions.
  • Ability to see the 'big picture' while paying attention to detail and driving continuous improvement.
  • Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills to create and analyze complex reports.
  • Comfortable learning new systems and technologies to support business growth.
