Job Description

The role of the Clinical Pharmacist is pivotal in delivering a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service to clients at Ipswich Hospital. Working within a multidisciplinary framework, this position entails providing patient care and contributing to team objectives within the pharmacy and broader multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Core knowledge, expertise, and skills in contemporary clinical pharmacy practice and knowledge of hospital pharmacy service delivery and medication management.
  • Able to provide patient care within a healthcare facility utilising high-level written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to proactively contribute to team objectives within the pharmacy as well as the broader multidisciplinary team.
Mandatory Requirements

Vaccination against certain vaccine-preventable diseases is mandatory, and a pharmacy tertiary degree recognised by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency is required.
