Job Overview

As a systems maintenance trainee, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of mechanical signalling equipment. You will be part of a skilled multidisciplinary team based in Cloncurry.

This is a hands-on role that involves:

  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair mechanical signalling equipment.
  • Maintenance Support: Assist with maintenance and repair of standby generator plants.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is carried out in line with WH&S standards.
  • Administrative Tasks: Accurately complete administrative and record-keeping tasks.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of existing work procedures and practices.
  • Task Reporting: Report on completed tasks against scheduled maintenance plans.

This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, ability to work independently and collaboratively, and a demonstrated commitment to safety and quality. You must also be flexible to travel across regional Queensland as needed.
