Quality Assurance Specialist

The primary functions of this role are to conduct thorough testing of software products, develop automated test scripts, and document test cases.

The goal is to ensure the quality of the software by reducing bugs and identifying potential issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans, including regression testing to verify software behavior, functionality, and integrity.
  • Documenting test results in defect reports and related documentation, ensuring adherence to established testing protocols and quality standards.
  • Assessing and pinpointing potential risks within the software to ensure mitigation and resolution.
  • Continuously updating and maintaining functional and regression test case documentation to reflect system expansions and updates.
  • Providing suggestions for software improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in software testing, with expertise in mobile, web, and API testing.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript test automation for API and Web.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience using tools like Postman and mobile emulators.

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience using JIRA for testing tickets and requirements.
  • Experience with Figma.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for documenting and resolving technical requirements.

  • A bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
