As Senior Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for providing support to the team, executing the fortnightly pay run, resolving client inquiries, and managing complex payroll transactions. You will also promote a high-performing and collaborative team culture.
About the Role:- Take ownership of the fortnightly pay run process, including superannuation reporting, terminations and redundancies etc. Apply performance metrics to ensure timely, efficient, and accurate payroll services.
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating payroll processes through relevant tools and systems, implementing corrective actions where necessary to improve outcomes.
- Act as a key escalation point and subject matter expert for resolving complex payroll issues, ensuring compliance and providing accurate guidance to the team and stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing payroll processes, systems, and service delivery by leveraging innovative technologies and best practices.
- Support payroll governance by maintaining proper authorisations and documentation in line with organisational policies and procedures.
- Australian citizenship or residency.
- Relevant qualifications and certifications (e.g. Certified Practising Payroll Manager).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
