Job Title: Senior Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing relevant teams, ensuring the planning, monitoring and delivery of the team and sections work program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management of teams, ensuring effective project delivery.
  • Guide, support, develop and mentor staff members.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement aligned with our values.
  • Support the coordination of projects to meet strategic objectives.
  • Complete requests for investment to define project scope, budget and priorities.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to build partnerships and manage expectations.
  • Monitor and report on project performance, risks, and benefits realisation to senior leadership.
  • Coordinate the use of specialist resources on projects including contractors, consultants and other ICT teams.
  • Ensure alignment with agency strategic objectives and government priorities.
  • Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, procurement policies, and legislative requirements.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in delivery practices and processes.

The role is open to Commonwealth employees only located in major cities in Australia.
