As a Senior Managerin our Internal Audit and Assurance team, you will have the opportunity to lead high-impact projects. You'll bring technical depth, commercial insight and as a trusted advisor, be able to confidently engage with stakeholders on all levels including senior executives.

You will be accomplished in leading large engagements or multiple concurrent projects, and will easily take ownership of planning, delivery, and quality, ensuring risks and budgets are well managed and outcomes are successful.

Beyond projects, you'll coach and develop team members, strengthen client relationships, and help shape strategies that deliver sustainable impact. Your leadership style is collaborative and commercially aware – and you'll have the opportunity to influence both our clients and our firm's future.

About You

You are a senior audit and risk management SME that has capability in risk-based auditing and control assessment including compliance and performance audits. You're comfortable managing and leading full cycle audits – planning, fieldwork, reviewing and reporting – and ensuring high-quality outcomes. You have commercial acumen and are confident engaging with a range of stakeholders.

Your skills and experience include:

• 8+ years of experience delivering internal audit services
• Qualifications such as undergraduate or post graduate degree (Commerce, Accounting or Finance desirable, all degrees considered)
• Professional certifications like CA, CPA, CIA, CISA
• Experience working with the Commonwealth government sector
• Experience planning, delivering and leading audit and assurance services
• Experience converting pipeline into active work & leading proposal development
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills – able to advise and challenge
• Exceptional time management and analytical skills
• Ability to build effective relationships with clients and your colleagues
• Hold an AGSVA Baseline (minimum) security clearance
