Lead Housekeeping Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Lead Housekeeping Operations Specialist. This role will be based in the Peregian Beach area of the Sunshine Coast.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in managing housekeeping operations in a hotel environment. They will be responsible for setting up tasks for the team, conducting briefings, working with the hotel leadership team on quality metrics, and ensuring rooms are delivered to guests on time.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily housekeeping operations, including setting tasks and briefings for the team
  • Collaborating with the hotel leadership team to achieve short and long-term quality goals
  • Ensuring rooms are delivered to guests on time and to a high standard
  • Providing support and resources to the team as needed
  • Administering Health and Safety procedures, billing, and rostering
  • Building relationships with hotel staff and stakeholders

Requirements include:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in managing housekeeping operations in a hotel environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Understanding of annualised budgets and financial management
