Leadership Position in Rural Healthcare

The role of Senior Manager - Podiatry is a critical leadership position that plays a pivotal role in advancing rural healthcare and workforce development.
As a recognised clinical expert, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning and leading within the Podiatry & Allied Health team, ensuring the development of highly skilled, evidence-based competencies across the podiatry workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational and professional management of Podiatry services
- Human resource processes
- Clinical supervision and credentialling requirements
- Quality improvement initiatives
The Senior Manager - Podiatry will also facilitate access to professional training and clinical support activities across RMCLHN care settings, initiate research and service quality improvements, and provide expert consultancy to RMCLHN Executive, service providers, and consumers with complex needs.
Requirements:
- A recognised qualification within a relevant Allied Health profession
- Eligibility for (full) membership of the relevant Professional Association
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA) for those professions requiring Registration
- Participation in the professional associations accredited continuous professional development program for self-regulated professions
- A higher qualification in a relevant area such as health service management, professional specialisation/clinical education
